Lalita Ghat is a unique place in Varanasi. In the 19th century, Rana Bahadur Shah, the King of Nepal, built this ghat, unlike other ghats that Indian rulers built. The ghat has two temples: the Nepali Mandir and the Lalita Gauri Mandir. His son, Girvan Yuddha Bikram Shah Deva, completed the temple, built a dharamshala, and constructed the Lalita Ghat. The entire project took over 20 years to complete.
